The section headings below are a guide and not compulsory but will help you section the
1000 words if written as a project or approx. 750 words and 25 slides if in power point, to
cover the intention of this piece of coursework. It is in essence a ‘local’ and a ‘national’
from the AS course put together.
You can select any nation that has a world standing in your chosen sport. If you intend to
continue as a player in A2 as your single performance role then you will undertake the
study on another nation in that role i.e a rugby player may select New Zealand. A coach
may select Holland for hockey.
Avoid minor countries and non-English speaking as this makes research more difficult.
Ideally it should be a nation that competes in world cup / Olympics etc.
Include: Facts and a bibliography plus photographs, video clips, tables, graphs,
images etc.
